The main ingredients of laswa nga tambo is Tambo (bamboo shoot) with some native ingredients that will activate your appetite and get you to eat it. The awesome taste it will gave is a good example of native filipino dish. It looks like a different lotus floating in a swamp. laswa nga tambo

Laswa nga tambo is a vegetable dish or utan , it came from a fresh bamboo shoots. Laswa nga tambo can be cook in different ways and style.
The main ingredients of this is tambo (fresh bamboo shoots), lubi (coconutmilk), okra and bagoong. This are only the basic ingredients of Laswa nga Tambo. It can be cook in regular and special type of cooking.

How to cook a Laswa nga Tambo?

Ingredients:

tambo
coconut milk
onions
okra
bagoong
(this only for the simplest cooking of Laswa nga Tambo. )

Procedure:

1. Blanch the Tambo, then when done, squeeze it.

2. Cook tambo with water

3. Add onions okra, the bagoong

4. Add the pure coconut oil

5. Flavor to taste

There you have it.. The delicious laswa nga tambo which originated in visayas!
